Rooms
At Silky Oaks Lodge guests are accommodated in boutique timber Treehouses. Set beside the rainforest and surrounded by lush natural gardens each has been carefully designed to offer privacy and maximum comfort. The Treehouses have stylish interiors with warm natural tones used to create a relaxed and soothing living space. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto a wide verandah where a hammock is positioned to make the most of the views. Air-conditioned, interiors are spacious and attractively furnished with a range of contemporary comforts including a daybed. The rooms have a large bathroom which includes a spa bath.
Restaurant
The Treehouse Restaurant is one of Northern Queensland's premier dining experiences and the open-sided restaurant offers sensational daintree rainforest and Mossman river views. The menu showcases the freshest local produce and fine Australian wines.
Location
The Lodge is situated on the edge of the Daintree National Park, protected by World Heritage status. It overlooks an idyllic lagoon. Port Douglas is approximately 20 minutes away (27 kms). Set on Mossman River, you can experience the wonders of the oldest living Rainforest in the world. Fly into Cairns and private or schedule land transfer (additional cost) to Mossman.
