The vic

Great hotel in the heart of melbourne, walking distance to everything. room was very spacious as well as the ensuite. access to spa and pool, sauna and gym everyday. reception at the front desk open 24/7 and they are very happy to help the customers out.

Poor reception

Not bad service in general however two points regarding two receptionist's poor service
1. first day arrival, my credit card was asked to be presented whilst fee was charged to my credit card without providing a reason at all. we have not identified or not being informed of the usage of our credit card by the receptionist who checked us in and asked for our credit card.
2. shower cap was not provided to our room on the third day of stay. we didnt find out until when we got back to hotel from the day trip and commenced the shower. we made the phone call to the receptionist and asked her to provide a shower cap. she shockingly asked us (who were in the middle of shower) to go downstairs to the reception to collect.

the above experience with the receptionists were terribly impressed ... which we have never come across with any hotels around the world or any star hotel or budget hotels at all....
