The hotel has a fantastic location opposite the Casino and Convention centre, a few minutes walk to city centre.

The lobby is dark, medium size, an old world style.
An historic building with facade and character maintained.
The rooms are generally medium in size but vary between single, twin and family rooms. Rooms are simple with adequate level of maintenance. There are many single rooms which is unusual for Australia.
The hotel has a cafe/bar/bistro at front of property off lobby. Breakfast room is on first floor.
The Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide is perfect for who wants to travel by car. The accommodation is with air conditioning. The hotel is ideal for sports lovers. The Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide offers disabled facilities. The Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide offers a laundry service. The Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide offers wellness features. Guests have access to an overhead projector to better support meetings, etc.. There is a projector available for the use in meetings. The hotel offers business facilities. The hotel is ideal for families with small children.
The hotel provides either its own car park or a nearby one with a special agreement; being not included in the room price, for a paid parking the payment have to be carried out directly on the spot.

First impressions in the loby were quite good. we then asked about parking and were directed to the car park below where there were no parks big enough to park so we went around the block to the public car park where the hotel has a deal where we got $2 off. we then walked back to the hotel only to have to walk down musty smelling coridoors into an even more musty room where you could not get down one side of the bed as it is pushed up against the wall. the ensuite was that small the floor mat could not go flat on the floor without touching the toilet shower and vanity. when you sat on the toilet the toilet roll holder was sticking into your leg and you had to take the roll off it to use the paper. dirty,smelly,noisy and very poor value for money. we wished we had spent $50 more and stayed at the intercontinental with the full buffet breakfast included. we are generally easy to please but this is not acceptable. not what shown on the internet

Horrible hotel, old (not graceful) venue tarted up and sold at a price. bathroom was quite possibly the smallest this side of tokyo. n
