Amazing experience and staff

I went here for my birthday - not only did the doorman send something up to my room, he actually made me a birthday card. that's awesome. the staff is great, the room was fantastic - its the ritz. come on.
i felt safe with my wife and would recommend this place to anyone. i always felt like i was "going home" while in berlin, and frankly, i would live there if i could afford it.

Ritz carlton berlin march 2011

When i saw the price on hotels click for this hotel i was worried it was too good to be true & called the hotel to see if they could match it, which they couldn't. so i booked with hotels click & was very happy i did - it was much cheaper than all other quotes i could get & i had no problems whatsoever.
the hotel is lovely & has everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. the staff were all absolutely lovely, very friendly, helpful & professional. the location is perfect. the room was clean, the bed was super comfortable & was turned down every evening. the mints on the pillow uniquely had pictures of the staff on them doing funny things - like one with the chef holding asparagus over his head! there were pictures like this everywhere, which was a bit strange, but made me laugh. there was a nice (but small) pool, sauna, spa, gym. the gym provided free bottles of water at every machine & towels etc.
my only small complaints were that there were not enough towels provided (just 2 large bath towels, no hand towels, no face cloths, no small towels for your hair etc) & the pool was too small.
