Grenada is an island state that is part of the Commonwealth, which consists of the island of Grenada and six smaller islands belonging to the southern part of the Grenadines, in the Caribbean Sea. The State of Grenada is located northwest of Trinidad and Tobago, northeast of Venezuela, and southwest of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Most of the population lives on the island of Grenada, the largest of the seven that make up the State, where there is the capital, St George's, and two other important cities: Grenville and Gouyave.

The official language of Grenada is English, but Grenadian Creole English is frequently spoken, a language that, although based on English, has its origins from the Indian, African and European heritage of this country.
Grenada offers magnificent scenery, thanks to the Caribbean Sea, but also to the mountains, the rivers and the beautiful waterfalls that often plunge directly into the sea.
The climate is tropical: hot and humid during the rainy season, and cooler during the dry season, thanks to the trade winds that blow in that period.
