Belize is a country in Central America that borders with Guatemala and Mexico, located in the south-eastern part of the Yucatan Peninsula.
After El Salvador, Belize is the smallest country in Central America.

The climate is tropical, with a rainy season concentrated between May and November.
The capital city is Belmopan and the official language is English. However, due to the admixture of different races, large part of the population speaks other languages such as Belize Kriol, which is a creole language based on English, or Spanish.
