Good hotel, nice central location just a short walk from everything. breakfast was really good with a wide variety on offer. staff were friendly and very helpful. car parking is right next door to hotel, be warned it is very expensive, but parking in amsterdam is expensive anyway so it was good to have the car near us. you are requested to leave the keys with the porter, but the car was never moved. 65 euros per day... we were upgraded to superior which although very comfortable was small, i hate to think what we would have got if we had not been upgraded. we had a canal view room which was very nice in what i believe to be the new part of the hotel. i asked to leave the car till 3pm the next day and the reception had no problem with this request. altogether a very nice stay and would probably stay again next time in amsterdam.
