Booked the hotel as it was in the kings cross area and we needed to be near tube stations, the walk was around 20 mins which was longer than we expected and the area itself wasn't the best, however the hotel was perfectly acceptable and i would stay there again

Chose the hotel last minute to attend a training course so location was the key factor. although there were cheasper hotelsi n the area, being a single female traveller, it was important to be in a reliable and safe place to stay in. it would have been cheaper if i had booked earlier. hotelmoffered everything that was needed, i was not on holiday.

Location was great! service was excellent! and the room was clean and quiet! everything we needed was close by or easy to get to. we stayed over new year and actually walked from the embankment back to the hotel after which took about 30 mins. the room had everything we needed and was a very spacious! a blissful stay!

Booked the wrong holiday inn, so they redirected me to this one and it is far superior to the other holiday inn nearby. everyone was so helpful and friendly which is important to a lone female traveller. the room was clean, comfortable and much larger than expected with a sofa in it as well! the hotel food was suprisingly good and i would definitely stay here again.

My wife and me had a very nice stay at holiday inn king´s cross when we had a 3-day theatre trip to london. we especially noticed that trafic noice was absent in the room.

Stayed here for 4 nights. double room had 2 double beds in. space was was adequate, bathroom with shower again quite adequate. slight queue for breakfast but nothing out of the ordinary for a busy hotel, we had continental but they did full english as well. nearest tube station kings cross about 10-15 minute walk on the piccadily line took you into all the relevant tourist spots. we pre-purchased an oyster card this covered all train, tube and bus travel all the way to heathrow terminal 5. staff pleasant, local eateries quite nearby if you fancy a change and not expensive. if you watch what time you eat in the centre of london very good deals on

We had a great night's sleep in the ultra comfy beds and lovely clean and modern room. staff were friendly and very helpful with information, directions etc. good breakfast in the bright and well appointed dining room. the fitness suite and swimming pool were a welcome treat after a hard days sightseeing and was very reasonably priced at £3.50. the only slight niggle was that it was a good 20 minutes walk from kings cross station unlike the address implies, but we soon found the 63 and 17 bus nearby to be very handy.

Picked this hotel for an overnight stop before catching eurostar to paris. first impressions were excellent, reception for very clean and service was friendly and efficient. we had a couple of drinks in the very reasonable packenham arms, just round the corner from the hotel followed by a superb meal in the hotel's indian restaurant. a good night's sleep in the well appointed room and we were set us up for the trip top paris.the 15 minutes walk to eurostar may not suit everyone, especially with bags, but i am sure a taxi would not be too expensive. i would certaily use this hotel again, both for eurostar and london breaks, at he price we paid.

We stayed for a week at the holiday inn - kings cross whilst on business in the area. we were slightly apprehensive but the hotel was lovely contrary to many reviews we had read. the rooms were a good size, unusual for london hotels, and spotlessly clean. check in was fast and efficient and the staff were courteous at all times. the tube station is a five minute walk away and you can be in the centre of where it is all happening within 10 minutes. the hotel is on quite a busy road but our room was amazingly quiet. our room rate included continental breakfast which was ok but not great. a couple of times we paid 7 pounds for a full english breakfast which was well worth it. overall we were more than satisfied with our stay and wouldn't hesitate staying at the hotel again.

Good clean hotel. 10 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive with the bus 63 to kings cross station therefore a good place to stay to visit london. quit area. the rooms are rather small and you can't open a window. good service at reception.

Spent two hours walking around trying to find the hotel and eventually got a taxi ! was not my first choice of booking but hotel was very nice. worst point was location wanted to stay nearer oxford street.

We paid £72 per night which included continental breakfast. this was exceptionally good value, particularly as for this weekend we couldn't find any other decent hotels in central london below £100, excl. breakfast, which of course tends to add a further £15 pp to your overnight stay rate. we had a room on the top (8th) floor which was excellent. continental breakfast was basic (cereals, breads, tinned fruit) but fine. only problem was it took up to 10 minutes queueing every morning for a table. covent garden is 15 minutes brisk walk so this is a little out of town but the area is quiet and safe, and if you're arriving at king's cross, st pancras, euston it's an easy 15 minutes walk too. no tube right next door but if you don;t mind the walk this is excellent value. health club currently under renovation.

Im badezimmer die eisenteile rostig die holzteile auf geschwemmt,am tisch zum fenster dir vorhänge total dreckig mit essensresten ( bemerkung des oberkellners er hätte dies auch schon gesagt) essen miserabel und miniportion ( filet wellington durchgebraten und zäh)

On the route of the 63 bus, this hotel is ideally placed for central london. just around the corner is exmouth market where you'll find a wide variety of pubs, eating houses and restaurants, where the atmosphere is friendly and cosmopolitan. the hotel itself is high quality with impressive decor and friendly staff. there are three lifts so you're never kept waiting to get to your floor. the rooms are well furnished and comfortable. i would definitely stay here again.

6 of us arrived about 11.30pm and were allocated 3 rooms side by side which was great. the bedrooms were great 2 queen-sized beds with plenty of room. slightly disappointed with the bathroom, although clean the grout & sealing could have done with being redone, it was the same in all rooms. the first thing we noticed coming into the hotel was the tobacco smoke, coming from scotland we are not used to this and it was a real turnoff, though that will improve come july. we thought the spirit prices in the bar were steep until we realised on the last day they serve double measures. there was no taxi service from the hotel but reception put on a light to alert cab drivers people were needing a taxi. the nearest tube station was a brisk 10 mins walk away, and we were fairly central for where we wanted to go, london eye, theatre, covent garden. we only had breakfast in the hotel which was fine, dinner prices around £15-£18 for main course, able to find good food cheaper elsewhere. we got a great deal through hotelsclick, 1/2 the price of the listed price and would definitely book through them again.

Great hotel, with good service and quite large rooms. facilites in hotel are great: nice indian resturant, great pub and gym with a swimming pool. the area between kings cross underground and the hotel are abit rough so i recommend to take a cab if your out late.
