El hotel Strasbourg es el lugar ideal para todos aquellos que desean unas vacaciones relajadas pero también para divertirse. El hotel ofrece a sus huéspedes diversos servicios, tales como; 1 ascensor, bar, alquiler de coches, no fumador, aparcamiento, parada de autobús y servicio de lavandería.... Stay away!
I wish i had listened to the advice given to me prior to making a reservation at this hotel. the price and the location made me disregard the warnings. 1) the noise located in a narrow street very near the railway station, it is inevitable to escape not only the noisy traffic but also the noise coming from the restaurant opposite the hotel. it's open until 2-3 o'clock in the morning, and believe me, you won't be able to escape any of the sounds coming from this joint. since there is no a/c in the rooms you will just have to open the windows in summer, in order to be able to get some air and hopefully some sleep, too. sheer exhaustion will make you fall asleep late in the morning..... 2) homemade rules i wanted to bring my swiss friend to my room to watch one of the football matches in the ongoing world championships. he was denied to visit me due to some unwritten rule which says that no visitors are allowed. had it been in north corea or china, then i would've understood it, but in switzerland, in the year 2010!?!?! i asked if there were more unwritten rules which they don't advise their guests, but i didn't get any answer to that... 3) the "breakfast" very basic. you can see the ham, you can see the cheese, the jam etc. but when you taste it, it's all the same tasteless shock. probably the cheapest ham and cheese on the market. not a very good publicity for the swiss food!
