Gute lage, 3 bett zimmer war ein wenig eng ebenso wie das bad aber ausreichend. wasserkocher im zimmer ist super! kein fitnessraum trotz deklarierung vorhanden. wenige meter entfernt ist ein externes studio. mehrsprachiges hotelpersonal könnte nur eng. und niederl.

Très bon hôtel. notre chambre était spacieuse, la salle de bains (sans baignoire) aussi. les tramways qui permettent de rejoindre le centre-ville en 10/15 mn s'arrêtent à quelques centaines de mètres de l'hôtel. nous avons laissé notre voiture dans le parking qui jouxte l'hôtel (12€/jour, ce qui est très raisonnable pour amsterdam où recourir aux horodateurs devient vite ruineux : de 2,4 à 5€ de l'heure de 9h (parfois 7h) à 24 h ! petit-déjeûner tout à fait satisfaisant, personnel affable. un seul point noir : le mode de chauffage dans les chambres est très bruyant et ne se règle pas bien.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff in reception. the staff were happy to help and guide us during our stay. the rooms were a good size and well equipped. the rooms were well maintained. the breakfast offered a great selection. the location was perfect. easily accessible by both bus and trams, a short trip to the city center. complimentary internet access and printing facilities in reception was a very nice touch, very handy.

Das hotel hat kein persönliches flair. dafür besitzt es eine gute anbindung an die innenstadt (q-parkhaus mit zugang direkt von der hotellobby aus, ( 8 euro am tag für 24 std. parken, wenn man sich bei der info in der tiefgarage beim lösen des parktickets meldet). das zimmer (wir hatten familienzimmer zu viert) war riesig, die betten hatten alle erwachsenengröße. sie waren sehr amerikanisch-weich gefedert. das fenster war nicht ganz zu schließen, wodurch wir den cityring-verkehr etwas mehr hörten, was aber nicht wirklich störend war. es wurde reparatur versprochen, dies war wohl auf die schnelle nicht möglich. das frühstück war im preis enthalten, was uns sehr entgegen kam. es hätte gern etwas umfangreicher sein können. bei allem herrschte selbstbedienung. bei den gästen, beim personal und in der ganzen wohngegend waren die menschen sehr international und interessant. das personal beim frühstück erschien uns öfters etwas lustlos und ineffektiv arbeitend. besteck fehlte fast immer. der frühstücksraum wirkt durch die dunklen gardinen -außerhalb des wintergartens- zu dunkel. hotellobby zweckmäßig und effektiv arbeitend.

Vor- und nachteile halten sich die waage. das sehr gute preis-leistungsverhältnis lockt auch jugendliche, die sonst im hostel feiern, jetzt halt im nachbarzimmer (ziemlich laut). die straßenbahnanbindung ist hervorragend. das hotel ist vom autobahnring schnell zu erreichen, damit verbundener nachteil: blick auf die autobahn und das fenster lässt sich nicht zu öffnen. das zimmer wäre ausreichend groß, wäre nicht inmitten ein betonpfeiler positioniert. das bett ist durchgelegen, bad und dusche aber okay und das zimmer sehr sauber. frühstück fand ich gut (rührei, müsli, frisches obst, croissant, was braucht man mehr). weiterer pluspunkt: parkhaus neben dem hotel mit direktem zugang über die lobby. bei benutzung bekommt man freikarten für die straßenbahn (beim parkhauspförtner melden!). das hotel befindet sich in einem "türkischen viertel", aber das stört ja nicht. wer also preisbewusst ein paar nächte in amsterdam verbringen möchte, ist beim blue tower richtig.

This hotel is an excellent place to stay, the beds were very comfortable, rooms very clean, plenty of towels in bathroom, breakfast was brilliant, i have no complaints everything about my stay in this hotel was excellent.

First impressions of the outside of the hotel is not good,but once inside the hotel is smart & clean. the reception staff were helpful, and the location of the hotel is ideal if you want to travel around.the tram is 2 minutes walk, and in 15 minutes you are in central amsterdam. if you have a car the deal for parking is terrific. the car park next to the hotel charges euro 6 per 24 hours, and this includes 2 free return tickets to travel in to central amsterdam.

Very modern and clean hotel, rich breakfast buffet, friendly staff, free internet access in the lobby, the surroundings are not exactly beautiful and it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the city centre by public transports (bus or tram), but all in all we felt very comfortable there and we can dearly recommend it.

Booked the hotel for a mixed group ranging from 17 to 48 years old. first impressions were that it was a bit blue but once we got inside i thought that the place was really quite decent. staff at reception were friendly and helpful and our rooms were great. we had paid for breakfast as well and i can't complain about it, there was as much as you wanted, was tasty and although there was a cut-off time the staff didn't seem to mind if we stayed a little longer. overall thought it was a good quality friendly place and would definitely recommend it.
