Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti in questo magnifico ed imponente albergo proprio al centro della città. la pulizia, la gentilezza, la posizione, la colazione meritano tutti 5 stelle. certo il prezzo non è proprio economico ma il tempo risparmiato vista la posizione giustificano il tutto. un unico appunto è sul bagno, ovviamente non provvisto di bidet e con vasca con doccia. per una persona anziana dover entrare ed uscire dalla vasca è decisamente scomodo.

We enjoyed the stay very much. everything was excellent, the rooms are big, the bed and the matress are very good, the staff very friendly and helpful, the breakfast has a rich choice of food, and everything we tried was very good. the location is also exellent, we could get everywhere by foot.

Hotel è situato nel centro di vienna, prospiciente alla via dello scopingh. le camere sono comode e pulite i servizi, sono ottimi, la colazione è soddisfacente. manca l'aria condizionata, anche se nel periodo del mio soggiorno la temperatura è stata fresca.

Location is both the strong point and the downside. it's within walking distance of almost everything but this means it's noisy late at night. the bathroom was probably the cleanest i have ever used but there was no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion, bath towels were small and no face towels - would expect better for 4 star, especially with airline restrictions on fluids. staff friendly and helpful. bed soft and comfortable but poor pillow. great breakfast. free internet access much appreciated.

This hotel was perfect for our requirements. it's central location was extremely advantageous for the main attractions and public transport. the rooms were of exceptional standard, staff helpful, polite and friendly and ameneties and extras were reasonably priced. breakfast selection was extensive and fresh. i was impressed.

Good location, big room ( but view to an ugly patio), clean and quiet.the receptionists didn't know enough information about places to visit or restaurants to eat.

We found the astoria to be absolutely excellent in every way. the rooms on the outside elevations of the building - were large and luxurious, though we think that we caught sight of some overlooking the inner well which may have been considerably smaller. our balcony room on the mezzanin floor overlooked the pedestrian kaerntner strasse and was very quiet at night. the breakfast was wonderful and the staff all helpful and friendly as well as efficient. we had gone to the opera and in poor weather it was so convenient to be a few steps away. the opera incidentally - la traviata - was the only disappointing element in our trip. vienna itself was stunning. we particularly recommend a visit to see the hapsburg jewels in the hoffburg.

Perfect service and perfect location. our room was great, nice view of the kaernter strasse and very large, good bed and friendly staff. we will definitely visit again.

Great location! we thought the hotel rooms were air conditioned or we would not have booked. we were in an interior room so even during the evening with windows open there was not any air flow. everything on the trip was fine and lovely except for lack of air conditioning or at least fans or some source of air.

There is no air condition in the hotel and during such weather (over 30 celsius) it is not to live. instead there was a great noise all day and night from an air condition appliance for an adjacent building located in a common yard.
