Very nice and clean hotel in a nice location with friendly helpful staffs. however, need a reception area face lift!
It is a very nice hotel with a very helpful and nice staffs, especially, vivien and nicholai. room and bathroom are clean. loved the nice pillow, comforter, and linens- they almost looked new. we did not see cleaning crews all that much- they did not disturb us like in other hotels. yet rooms are cleaned while we are out. the reception area definitely needs a face lift. it kind of gives you the impression of being in a motel of some sort. i think the door to the bar can be removed to make the entire area look bigger. nice quiet area yet tram and train stations are very close by. we walked from the hotel to the city hall/church/stephan platz etc. nice restaurants near by. i am not sure if it can be 4 star though, perhaps a three star extremely nice hotel. i had seen the review of someone mentioning about some pictures of hotel not being correct. that is wrong. the hotel infact has two sections. a conference area section and rooms section separated by a garden. the staircase in the hotel advertisement does belong to the hotel. walk around the garden.
