I booked this hotel as we were going with family to the hogmany ceilidh. unfortunately i required 2 rooms but you were unable to provide this as you could see from the very numerous e-mails at the time. for the other room i had to pay 2x the price. this was very dissapointing but having had the first room confirmed and non refundable i had no option. however everything about the experience was great apart from the extra expense.

Attended a wedding and took b & b. room, service, food were all first class. however, a 0230 fire alarm (false) was very badly handled, with no apparent procedures, no communication, no apology.

La ubicación en medio de la campiña es impresionante, pero por esa misma razón se hace complicado llegar hasta el hotel. no fiarse de las indicaciones de google maps si no se quiere deambular por carreteras desiertas. no fiarse de las indicaciones de cualquier paisano!

A great place to stay within easy distance of aberdeen. room was well heated and spotlessly clean. very nice bath/shower room. excellent choice for breakfast, both a buffet and menu choice which should please everyone. stayed in the hotel in the evening for a function. this was well run and enjoyable. bar prices are pretty high but this is usual for a hotel. wifi available but you pay t-mobile for this

As a woman often working away from home on business, i am used to indifferent service and cramped rooms. not here! best breakfast ever, great room, spotlessly clean (i paid more for a double because i wanted more room to work, superb spa/pool facilities and best of all, efficient friendly staff who smiled all the time. not in the centre of town, but peaceful - and fifteen minutes from the shops.
