Good location - close proximity to major train station
Our welcome was quite good. clean accomodation, good beds, clean bathroom and linen. the narrowness of the hallway was an interesting experience. of course space is at a premium in paris. the lift only fits 2 people and at the most 2 suitcases. smallest lift i've ever seen. breakfast was good, and interesting in the dungeon. only 2 things let this hotel experience down. 1. water hammer noise kept us awake in the early hours of the morning. you could push up on the ceiling above the toilet to stop it, but you cannot sleep like that! 2. we were sold tickets for three by reception to a dinner cruise up and down the main river of paris and they didn't know who we were. worse still is we had to pay full fee on top of that for our child! not impressed! i don't recommend to anyone to do that cruise either. it was very rushed, no time for coffee thereafter either.
