Good location, nice view

I found a good price for this hotel in a nice location, two subway stops from the historical district. the hotel is on corso vittorio emmanuele, on a hill. there are stairs to go down to the nearest subway station (amadeo). nice residential neighborhood. the hotel itself is an old style upscale hotel, that could be refreshed but it is clean and convenient. nice room with a nice view over the bay. the bathroom is ok too. helpful staff. overall a very good hotel for the price i paid. a few "weak" points: - no internet connection/wifi in the rooms (only a computer in the lobby) - the power plugs are all old italian style plugs, except in the bathroom, not very convenient to recharge your laptop/cell phone/camera - the breakfast is average
