A really nice hotel. from the arrival to the departure we were well taken care of by well trained and kind staff. if you are in the glasgow area then this hotel is well worth considering.

I visit glasgow once a month to visit my kids always lucky to find the erskine bridge hotel. for me now, it's a second home - everyone who works here go out of their way to look after you, and it's genuine and sincere!!! the facilities are great for my kids and i to have a real relaxing stay and is really economical too. we have a swim on the night and in the morning, the jacuzzi helps me to relax. well done all - keep it up, you're all stars!!

Lovely big clean room bathroom with bath and shower, spotless, greated at front desk and advised on the facilities opening times etc friendly staff at breakfast couldnt do enough for you always checking we had enough tea or coffee.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. we travel to scotland a lot on business and this room was up there as one of the best. the view was fantastic, the staff very helpful as we arrived early. the breakfast was excellent. can not praise this hotel enough

The main reason for choosing this hotel was to use their pool facilities, i.e. swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc and chill out, however onboth nights of our stay the sauna and whirlpool were out of action, had we know that before we travelled 85 miles we certainly would not have stayed here and will not in the future. not even a sign before entering the pool to state that these facilities were not available, very shoddy!

This was 2nd time we had stayed in a week...first visit fine hotel obviously being refurbished but our room was good...very nicely done. however our 2nd visit 4 days later, a different story we were in along with another couple 2 rooms on 3rd floor 332 331 and they were awful...the beds must be the worst we have ever slept on, just sitting on them you were almost on the floor, worst night sleep all 4 of us had had...the rooms were very shabby as were the communal areas and corridors leading to the rooms...this re furbishment needs to get a move on. also on both our visits ...1 of 2 lifts was out of order...this is just not acceptable in a hotel of this size, we had to resort to using the fire escape stairs...(which by the way did not indicate which floor you were on a safety issue i would think)just to get to the ground floor quickly...really bad

We checked in 1st june, the room and bathroom were lovely, obviously the hotel is being refurbished as still lots of the communal spaces looked tired.also only 2 lifts in this large hotel and one was not working, had to queue for some time, so we climbed the stairs, not a good first impression. checked in again on the 5th june, young man on the desk attentive and remembered us, this time the room 332 was awful, very shabby and the bed was the worst i think we have ever slept in, when we sat on the bed the mattress was almost on the floor...did not sleep very well. the bathroom was not good, taps did not work properly and you could not tell which was the hot or cold. again 5 days later only 1 lift working...this is terrible.

The first impressions on seeing this hotel was disappointing as the outside stonework was dirty and looked uncared for and the entrance area was in need of some attention as there were broken windows and generally looked run down. inside was a totally different matter as the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed as were the communial areas. reception staff were very efficient and the meals in the dinning room were of a good standard. don't be put off by the appearance of this hotel as it was really good value for money and i would not hesitate to stay there again.

This hotel provides great value accommodation near to glasgow airport. we stayed in a smart and beautifully lit refurbished room and had access to free airport parking and a shuttle bus to and from the airport. at £45 for 2 b & b, this is great value, especially as the breakfast is a help-yourself-to-as-much-as-you-want buffet offering every conceivable food option. we also tried the restaurant for dinner and discovered that there must be an excellent chef back there - the food was tasty, innovative and attractive, and again well priced - 2 courses and a bottle of wine for around £40 for 2. overall, a great place to stay at low cost and big comfort.

The erskine bridge has got the best of all worlds - easy access from major accessible points, the airport, glasgow city, the trossachs whilst retaining the tranquility of an urban town. the views are spectacular, the erskine bridge imposes upon the scenery, an arched splendour which is doubly endorsed at night with lights reflecting on the clyde below. anyone arriving from glasgow airport cannot fail to be impressed by the friendliest of greetings from the courtesy bus, the reception staff on arrival and the attentiveness of all the hotel staff. the rooms are well equipped and comfortable, impeccably clean, bright and airy. the leisure facilities are the icing on the cake - without a doubt this hotel offers five star luxury for the price of a b & b.

My wife and i had stayed at this hotel on one previous occasion so this was our second visit. once again, we had no complaints whatsoever. the rooms were clean and comfortable with tv and tea/coffee making facilities. the bathroom was spotless. we were on a bed & breakfast package and the buffet breakfast was excellent as was the service. this hotel is situated in a quiet location on the banks of the river clyde within easy reach of glasgow airport and, consequently, has a high turn-over of short stay guests. the hotel offers some excellent value deals for an overnight stay which includes two weeks free parking at the hotel and a free shuttle bus transfer to and from the airport. if you are booking via the internet, it pays to spend some time looking at the room rates from the numerous booking agents as they do vary and you can save yourself a few pounds. we would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again

This hotel looks a little shaby on the outside but when you get inside you are pleasantly surprised. the rooms are very clean and have really nice decor. the hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment but there was no disruptions or noise. i would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I have stayed at this hotel on business before. maybe 8-10 years ago. seeing the room allocated it seemed that was the last time the room had been cleaned. burned iron make on the floor, tread bare curtains and bed cover to match. just tired and dirty. a big disappointment having expected 100% refurbished rooms and complementary wifi in all guest rooms. actually only 75% rooms refurbed. those not yet done are bad! corridors are tired and poor (maybe waiting for building work to be completed). wifi only free in lobby. would give it 1 more chance but only in a new refurbished room - if not better at travel inn or premier lodge.

After reading mixed reviews on this hotel i was not sure whether to book or not. however was the only hotel at this location. i was pleasantly surprised. all staff were very friendly. the health centre was also very good. some of the hotel is a bit worn however most of the communal areas & some of the rooms have been refurbished. the family room we stayed in was acceptable & clean. scottish buffet breakfast was also very good. generaly very good value for the price we paid & would stay there again.

Very pleasant reception and food in the restaurant was very nice. the room was tidy and clean but could do with a bit of redecoration. only concern was the heat in the room. tried to turn it down and contacted reception but the system would not allow it to be shut off so i slept with the window open. leisure facilities in the spa were good and made use of them. i would return to this hotel again.

While we found our stay pleasant enough, our room could have been doing with some major refurbishment. very 1970s furniture and decor and there was a very horrible smell in the room - smelt like the bathroom drain.

We had a fabulous stay at the erskine bridge hotel. we only stayed one night but could honestly say that i would recommend it for a longer stay. the rooms are pretty basic but all you need is there. the staff were excellent and very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. the facilities are also very good with a nice restaurant and a lovely hearty breakfast started off the day well. the hotel is perfectly situated for glasgow city, glasgow airport and a good starting point for loch lomond and beyond. well worth the price.

A very nice hotel situated with views of the clyde from our bed room. the room could have done with a bit of refurbishment as it was looking a little bit tired. as i had an appointment with the golden jubilee hospital at clydebank,it was only 10 minutes away over the bridge. we were unfortunate that as it was a buffet breakfast that some of the items were cool/cold but overall it was value for money and the staff were attentive. will use it again.

The hotel could really do with a freshen up, it looks a bit tired in places. we usually went down for breakfast about 9.00am on a weekday and there wasn't very much left (buffet style), there certainly wasn't any fruit as per the menu on the table! parking was a nightmare as there are about a million cars all parked and left by people who are going to the airport, so you have to just take the first space that comes to hand. the leisure facilities were good, we used them a few times when we were there and it was a pleasant experience. overall the stay was fine, it was the price that made us stay there.

We were guests at an evening reception and decided to stay overnight. car parking is a problem, we were lucky and found a space on the paved area. others had to park in the grassed, overflow area with was resembled a quagmire after hours of heavy rain!the hotel itself was comfortable and clean although the lifts weren't working when we arrived, which meant we had to use the stone stairs (fire escape?)to our sixth floor room. the views from the room, overlooking erskine bridge, were excellent, however! as we were only staying one night i cannot comment on the rest of the facilities, but the breakfast was adequate, although the service could have been better in the dining room. we had to ask for several basic items, such as salt/pepper and jams which weren't on all of the tables. we've had better standards in scottish b&b's!

This hotel was cheap and now i know why, dont get me wrong the rooms were adequete but the whole place needs a facelift. service was non-existent, we ate in the restaurant one night and the staff were to busy chatting to serve. we left before the sweet, after asking for it twice. the breakfast buffet was a nightmare,with half an hour to go there were no eggs, hash browns, the beans resembled concrete and when i asked for more it was to much effort for the staff. the bar was being redecorated so half was boarded up and the lager was flat, not bad for nearly 3 pounds a pint. i reccommend paying a bit more and staying somewhere else.
