Location is excellent. close to advent fair. hotel is clean. room is in very good condition. receptionist was helpful. breakfast room is very small. there was a mess at 9 am. not enough food and space. we had to eat standing. waiters were lost.

Das arcotel allegra liegt neben dem hauptbahnhof in zentraler lage. vor dem haus ist eine straßenbahnhaltestelle - mit der an der rezeption erhältlichen "zagreb-card" kann man sich günstig in der ganzen stadt bewegen und erhält zusätzlich noch begünstigungen bei diversen eintrittspreisen. wir parkten in der tiefgarage (ca. € 13,- pro tag) von wo aus ein lift direkt ins hotel führt. der grund unseres aufenthalts waren die weihnachtsmärkte - die kann man auch gut zu fuß vom hotel aus erreichen. die zimmer sind dem preis entsprechend ok. die matratzen in den betten sind gut - badezimmer ist ok. bei uns war der umschaltknopf zwischen badewanne und duschkopf defekt - aber das hat mich nicht weiter gestört. die getränke der minibar sind teuer. was mich gestört hat war, dass der speisesaal/frühstücksraum zu klein ist. das hotel war zum zeitpunkt unseres aufenthalts ausgebucht. als wir gegen 08:15 uhr frühstücken wollten, gab es keinen sitzplatz mehr. wir sind dann auf einen tisch in der weiter entfernten bar ausgewichen - wir konnten zwar frühstücken, aber der weg zum buffet war entsprechend weit. fazit: für den günstigen preis ein gutes hotel, das zentral liegt

For the price it is a average hotel, breakfast is good but rooms are more like a 2/3 star hotel

Rooms: the beds in the room were too hard. we couldn´t hardly sleep. the bath was ok and clean. breakfast: the pot coffee was undrinkable. we ordered separate coffee but had to wait at least 15min. the buffet was acceptable. garage: the garage is linked to a shopping center and a cinema and is too expensive for a public garage (20 euro/day). between 19.00-22.00 the garage is completelly occupied (main movie time). the location of the hotel is good for business trips.
