Location, location!

Having been let down by one internet site, hotelsclick managed to book my friend & i a room in cavendish st. james's. excellent location - walked everywhere. very clean. staff pleasant. food good at breakfast & pre theatre dinner. we were allocated a superior room as we needed a twin bedded room, despite stating standard room on voucher. however we were disappointed as we found room & bathroom rather small - would not like to have paid hotel's full rack price! also basin in bathroom cracked. if we could guarantee cheap rate we would return, but not at full advertised price.

The cavendish - a superb hotel

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always found it to be a great experience. the location is very convenient and it's in a lovely area. the rooms are very well equipped. the only small letdown this time was the reception staff. they were perfectly polite and professional, but not as friendly as usual. cole, the porter, is great. the breakfasts are very good too.

Very good hotel indeed!!!

Stayed in the cavendish for one night, and this was a very pleasant experience. for once, the photos are not deceptive, which makes a change. the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff very professional. the choice at the breakfast bar was a little limited in my opinion, but good quality nonetheless.

Cavendish hotel - 81 jermyn st

This hotel is in such a fab location! the staff are very friendly and helpful. it's fairly young and trendy and reminded us of hotel babylon! the rooms are fairly small considering we upgraded i was surprised that it was small but thats the same with most london hotel rooms. the rooms are very modern and very trendy. very comfy bed. we upgraded to an executive room at an extra cost, but well worth it for the fantastic view we had all over london. 14th floor is a must! the lobby bar has a strange atmosphere, not overly relaxing, bit more business like. the breakfast was fantastic, really really lovely and fresh. overall a great stay. the location is fab, especially for the theatres.
