Just back from a 3 nights stay at the Crowne Plaza Shoreditch. This is our 4th time to stay here and it never disappoints. Initially, I was a bit worried that the area mightn't be the greatest but it's absolutely fine. Obviously, like any area, if you were walking home at 3am you might run into some drunks or a bit of trouble but we had absolutely no problems whatsoever. The hotel is in a great spot, less than 10 minutes walk to Liverpool St station and Spitalfield Markets. The brilliant thing is that you can use your tube ticket on the bus too and, as there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, you can get to Liverpool St station in 2 minutes (great news for your poor feet after a long day shopping or sightseeing!!). The room itself was lovely. The staff in the restaurant were so nice and helpful and there is a good variety of food for breakfast (lots of sliced fresh fruit so no excuses for not getting your recommended daily requirement!!). The waiting staff in the bar were just as hlpful, even giving us a complimentary bowl of nuts with our drinks (small gesture but a nice touch). All in all we had a brilliant stay at the Crowne Plaza and I'm looking forward to visit No. 5 already!

A friend and I spent 3 nights at this hotel in London after reading many good reviews. It is a very good hotel with nice rooms, excellent staff and a nice ambience. Breakfast was very good also. Buses into central London stopped right outside the hotel door which was very handy and quick and Liverpool Street Underground station was a 10 minute walk away. Personaly I would have preferred to have been closer to the centre of London so that would probably put me off staying here again.

Very friendly staff with exceptional service, especially in the Resturant and Reception. Room was spotless and very comfortable with a great bathroom. The only let down was no free WIFI and a old television set. Will use hotel again when we next visit London.
I'd stay here over the Radisson anyday!!

If you want to stay at an upmarket hotel that offers you everything that you need then the Crowne Plaza has it all. Check-in was friendly and faultless even though the man was a trainee. The room was spotless and had everything you would need. We were only staying one night but I couldn't find fault. The location isn't Kensington, but we but you're a stone's throw from the buzzing brick lane area. Plenty of people around at night so didn't feel unsafe at all.

Great location, 10 mins to Liverpool st station. Rooms large by London standards, good bathroom, nice furnishings. Only problem was the wifi in the hotel was broken during our stay and we had to pay £12.99 for cable wireless which is unacceptable in a business hotel.

Clean hotel with a decent size room. Hotel is undergoing a refurbishment and we had one of the refurbed rooms which had a built in sofa rather than the usual uncomfy chair you find in most hotel rooms.
Breakfast room was pleasant / light and airy with view of London. Good buffet breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed my break at The Saint gregory! I liked my bedroom, it was a good size and well equipped with every comfort provided. I found the staff helpful. I liked the rooftop dining room.
