This was our third visit to Campanile over the past seven years and each time we have found the facilities excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Ideal stay for going to a concert at the SECC or Clyde Auditorium. Rooms a bit on the small side but as only staying overnight it wasn't a problem.

Large clean room. Bathroom in need of some remedial work. Breakfast was fine. Ate in restaurant on one night but food was disappointing.
Great value and location

Booked last minute to stay here on news year eve. Check in was busy when we arrived but went smoothly and the reception staff were friendly. Rooms are a decent size with everything you need, hairdryer, tea coffee facility and toiletires. Extremely handy if you going to the SECC. Breakfast was nice, choice of the usual hot and cold foods with juices, tea, coffee etc was a nice start to 2012!

We often stay here when visiting Glasgow for concerts at the SECC. Its a comfy clean hotel with everything you need. Our room was on the small side but perfectly adequate. Its worth searching for a deal that includes scottish breakfast as its buffet style and frequently refilled. For the cost ,you canny beat it!
great hotel with a few minor faults

great hotel staff very pleasant great service the only faults were the shower tray in our room had a nasty crack in it it could easily had cut our feet if we had'nt noticed it the sink was cracked too!! the carpet was wet near the toilet wall i presume it was due to the shower tray leaking!!
Great basic hotel, needs new carpets though!!

Very happy with the stay overall. The room was basic but clean and had a flat screen TV. We are dinner before we went out and the food was lovely. The location of the hotel is great too. It was cheap at £55 per night (although I understand this isn't the normal rate). If i'd paid the standard rate of £85 then my review might not be quite so positive as I don't think the hotel is in good enough shape (furnishings, carpets etc) to charge this amount. Of course, it was still a pleasant stay, the bed was comfortable, check out time reasonable and food good but I would expect clean carpets and a higher standard of soft furnishings
gher standard of soft furnishings for that price. I keep repeating that the carpets were stained because this was glaringly obvious.
Overall - if you can get thsi hotel at the price we did then it's fantastic but I wouldn't advise spending the full £85.

Location perfect for SECC, staff helpful, and breakfast sufficient for most needs. Bed comfortable and clean, unlike room carpet. Shower tray very badly cracked and silicon partially applied, a bit off-putting. Also booked twin and only double available, as hotel had notification for same. Staff however, made up the sofa bed in the room. It was quite comfortable, according to my travelling companion. Apart from the shower condition which was really poor, this hotel ticks all the boxes for location and price, as great pleasure derived from sitting watching everyone else trying to exit the car park of the SECC!

Campanile is a great location when exhibiting at the SECC it gave me great value but easy access especialily as I was travelling alone. The hotle was clean and comfortable which are the main things I look for when away from home. I didn't use the restaurant instead opted for the oriental restaurant across the car park which was fab and welcoming

The Campanile is perfect for when you are at a concert at the SECC. We had a great meal at the India Quay and then enjoyed our concert. The hotel was fine, apart from the breakfast which was one of the poorest we have had to be honest. Nothing was hot enough, some stuff was over cooked, one of the coffee machines was not working - all very average. However, this would not put us off staying again if we were back up at the SECC.
