Originally built as a bank in 1923, then converted into an inn and tastefully refurbished in 1998, the Bank's imposing façade remains an unquestionably impressive landmark on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. The entrance into the inn is through Logie Bairds Bar, notably live and frequented by locals and visitors alike. The reception is located in the Bank Manager's office at the rear of the Bar where access to the hotel's bedrooms is hidden in the oaked panelled walls.
