General
Our uniqueness as emblematic hotel of Puerto de la Cruz is based in the creation of surroundings, where our clients feel absolutely comfortable and relaxed, in surroundings where they have no doubts about the hotel’ s history and its surroundings. We offer an excellent and privileged location infront line of the avenue with view towards the Atlantic Ocean Different surroundings to enjoy relaxed moments and the privileged views from our panoramic pool, located on the roof of the hotel. From here the northern coast of the island can be seen and even on days with clear skies the profile of the island of La Palma. We have two sunroofs, one located in the pool area and a second space on the first floor of the hotel, with sun beds of latest design.
Exterior
We have an outdoor Jacuzzi located in the garden area with access for all hotel guests. We are a team conscious of the importance of health and tranquillity, and therefore you can use in our services the internet by cable and WIFI in common zone. Also you have at your disposal two energy-free rooms for all those persons which are electro-sensitive and special rooms for guests with impaired mobility. If you want to travel in company with your dog to accompany you during your stay with us you can do so as well, provided it weighs less than 5 kilos. Rooms
The spirit and ancient atmosphere can be appreciated in its 171 rooms, equipped with the special commodities which our guests expect during a stay. Different rooms, decorated with actual tendencies but always conserving the colonial style. All our rooms are exterior and with terrace, TV via satellite, air condition, telephone, mini bar, safe and hair dryer. In order to adapt to all necessities we have different room types and sizes as well as view options. In order to diminish the possible noises the rooms and corridors of the hotel have fitted carpet. Nevertheless we dispose of certain rooms with a special floor. We also dispose of two energy-free rooms for all those guests who are electro-sensitive. Depending on your necessities and wishes you can choose between the different room models we dispose of. Please contact us if you have any special wishes.
Restaurant
Next to the pool is the restaurant “Kontiki Lunch” , ideal for a snack and a meal à la carte at lunchtime as well as the moment of the cake and coffee in the afternoon. The main restaurant „La Finca“ is located on the second floor, for the breakfasts and dinners during your stay and the „Jardin Lounge“ for the later social gathering after dinner.
Location
Puerto de la Cruz, the second most populated city of the island, lies in the north of Tenerife, next to the municipalities of Los Realejos and La Orotava and at the feet of its valley which gave the town its name. Only 15 minutes from the airport of Los Rodeos on the motorway you reach the Hotel ValleMar. Situated in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, it has an excellent location in front line of the Avenida Colón and opposite the Atlantic Ocean. The client takes advantage of the friendly atmosphere of the city, its spring climate with an average temperature of 24ºC all year round and its privileged location, in the natural space of the Orotava valley, with the Teide Peak watching over the whole valley.
