The hotel?s building has been converted from a derelict mill into its present form as a luxury hotel. Originally a flour and olive oil mill dating back to the 18th century, the building was abandoned in 1993. Many of its original features, such as the milling stones, machines and moat remain in place, giving the hotel a charm of its own. Outside, gardens are built on 2 terraces landscaped with fruit trees. These lead down to a beautiful waterfall cascading into the River Guadalcobacin.Picture an 18th century old olive and flour mill converted into a luxury 10-bedroom hotel, set in stunning landscaped gardens scented with fruit trees and just five minutes from the historical mountain pueblo of Ronda. In the summer months there is also dining on the riverside terrace. the chef has created an interesting international menu using only the finest of fresh local produce and seafood. The menu also offers an extensive wine list including many locally produced vingtages and a wide selection of international wines. (Restaurant is closed on Mondays)
