The hotel has been totally refurbished in 2004 and today offers its guests a comfortable and cosy atmosphere in a modern environment. Hotel Alixares offers Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the building, a reception desk open 24 hours, several fully equipped meeting and conference rooms, an Internet Point, an outdoor swimming pool, massage services, a private parking area, a bar and a restaurant, just to mention some.
The hotel is located in a strategic position facing the Alhambra, one of the most beautiful and highly esteemed monuments in the world, no more than 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Granada. Easily accessible from the motorway (exit 132).

Decorated with the familiar and conventional Andalusian colourful tiles, typical of Moorish times. There is a large reception area, with marble floors and a reception desk. There are also spacious seating areas where one can watch television or read.

Enjoyable stay in granada

Stayed 4 nights at the alixares hotel, granada at the end of september. the location was perfect for visiting the alhambra - just a 2 minute walk. it was easy to get to on public transport (c3/c4 buses). hotel facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. i really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and in granada. i would recommend it to anyone visiting the palace.

A chilly stay, in may in granada, but a wonderful hotel

It was surprisingly cold and wet in granada and whilst we wandered around the alhambra. but the alixares was wonderfully warm and cheerful, staff atentative. however, but they were extremely busy with weddings and tour company guests - so we could not eat at the hotel for lunch. but no matter we still had a wonderful time. we would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again!
