The hotel building was built in 1951 and renovated in 2003. It consists of 6 floors and 145 rooms, of which 30 are singles, 110 are doubles and 5 are suites. The outer façade of this building is made of traditional sandstone, in an early 1900’s design, which blends in well with local art nouveau style architecture.

Hotel colon

Had a nice stay at this hotel although the room faced the opposite way to the cathedral and was a bit noisy due to scooters and a little bar.
overall room was spacious for the 3 of us with a big jacuzzi bath and shower over.
