Girlie weekend in london

My friend and i got to london early on the saturday morning, we decided to go straight to the hotel to see if we could check in our bags, so that we didn't have to carry them around with us. we were delighted that our room was ready, and available to check in to. (10am). the hotel is very grand and staff polite, helpful and english! room was very big (we had booked a delux double) and very clean. my only grump was that we couldn't open any of the windows, had to rely on the air con, which i personally do not like. breakfast was included in our deal, which thank goodness it was because it was almost £25 per head (for a cup of coffee and cooked breakfast). however, that said, the restaurant was very impressive and food lovely. i would definately stay at the chancery court again. great location, 5 -10 minute walk to covent garden.

I love this hotel but ...............

I love this hotel as the staff are all fantastic, friendly and efficient. the rooms are spacious, warm and clean and i always feel welcome here. i've always found the checking in/out a painless experience and there is rarely a queue but on arrival this time the receptionist could not find our booking as our name had been registered with a typing error!!! this small lack of attention to detail was embarrassing and as we had all the paperwork (with correct spelling) was totally unecessary. in the end it was sorted out by looking at the hotelclick web site.

A gracious stay!

We thought the hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. the location is great and within easy walking distance to covent garden and theatreland. the breakfast was fabulous and served until 12 midday on sunday which is a real treat after a late night out. i couldn't fault this hotel and it is now my favourite place to stay in london. also hotelclick definitely offered the best price available.
