3 star at a push

Room was nice, lovely big comfortable bed and hotel was in good location with bust stop directly outside to take us into venice. however, i didn't realise the hotel was so big and we were 7 floors up which i didn't like (especially when the fire alarm went off one night). the breakfast wasn't good, the selection was okay (except a toasting machine would be good) but the meats, cheeses just weren't nice and the bread rolls were always stale (we'd had a similar brekkie in a hotel in florence and it all tasted fresh). also there was no tea coffee making facilities in the room and nowhere just to get some hot water. i had some medicine to take with hot water and reception sent me to the bar in the hotel next door! (as the bar in the delfino was also closed).

Nice looking hotel, but the front desk would keep turning our a/c off

Parking was not included and cost 10 euros per day. room was nice but the automated air conditioning system is monitor/controlled by the front desk. we had to call every morning (in the middle of our sleep) to have them turn our a/c back on because they turned it off during the night.
wifi was free but signal goes in and out constantly.

Hotel delfino

We stayed at the delfino as i was running the venice marathon. it was ideally located for this. the bus service to and from venice is excellent with both stops directly in front of the hotel. the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. the restaurant was clean and well run by the friendly staff. the menu was basic but that was all we wanted the first night as we then ate in venice the rest of the trip. we flew ryanair into treviso and again the bus service to and from there was excellent, with the bus stopping at mestre train station which is about 10mins walk from the hotel.
an ideal base for your trip to venice at a reasonable price.

Delfino hotel

I was very dissapointed to arrive at the delfino to find it under renovation. at first i thought it ok as we were garuanteed to only have the work going from 10am till 5:30pm. we were quick to discover this was not the case. work would start on days as early as 7am and not finish until 7pm. also we stood at the hotel bar for and hour before giving up on any service.our room was immaculate and the staff on the desk were very friendly!i will be putting yes as a recommendation for others but only for when the work is complete and hope that the catering facilities improve. overall disappointment though.

Stay at mestre hotel delfino

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. handy for going into and out of venice, as bus stop is right outside of hotel. breakfast was fine with a good choice to suit all kinds. a bit nosy if staying in a room at the front of the building, althiough the room we stayed in was spotless.

Enjoyed my stay in hotel delfino. this hotel was very
clean and breakfast was ok. i travelled with 5 children
and didn't find it very child friendly, staff were a little abrupt to children. the location of the hotel was a little far from central venice, we had to get a bus(which was right outside hotel) to roma (7 minutes) and then the water bus to central venice (about 50 minutes) for adults i feel this would not be a problem. this hotel was quite cheap and reception were very helpful. we left our luggage in hotel on day of departure and unforunately door was left unlocked. overall the hotel itself was ideal, bedrooms large and spacious and very clean but a little far away with children.
