I was extremely pleased with this hotel. Everything was wonderful including the room, the service, the location, the garden, and especially the breakfast - best buffet breakfast of any hotel I have visited. I am returning to Rome in October, and will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Excellent hotels, spacious rooms. Lovely hotel walkable from railway station all main bus routes on via nationale. The lounge and gardens make all the difference compared to the other hotela in Rome I have stayed in.
Happy hour 5-8 makes the drinks reasonable and lots of nice free snacks to go with it
Do ask for a non street room unless you like traffic

This whole stay worked out very well. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I walked to the hotel from the train station in less than 5 minutes. In fact, the location was great for using the bus and subway system, saving money on taxis. The staff was friendly and cooperative, especially in the restaurant.

The Quirinale's location was ideal for us,close to the Metro, train and bus station and within walking distance of most of the main attractions. The room was very clean and tidy although a hospitality tray would be welcome addition.
The breakfast on offer was very good and varied with most tastes catered for. The reception staff and porters were helpful throughout.
One downside for us was the traffic noise at night and we had a side room away from the busy main street.

We booked a short break to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. The central location of the hotel meant we were able to visit all the sights we had planned. Our room, though a little plain, was immaculately clean and the huge bed was very comfortable. There was quite a lot of road noise but it didn't spoil our stay - it's the price you have to pay for the hotel's central location. In summary, we thought the hotel represented excellent value for money and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable base from which to explore the sights of the city.

Easy hotel to get to and good location. Staff were generally helpful and pleasant. But they tried to fob us off with the smallest rooms - in one you could touch both walls from the bed - (we were both women travelling alone) and did not ask whether we wanted non-smoking rooms.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It is a central location for sightseeing and it a block away from the metro and approx 10 min walk to the train station. The staff speak very good english and are very helpful when approached. The rooms are moderate in size and are decorated in typical Italian decor. It is an ideal hotel if planning a trip to Rome within easy access to the sights and offers a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the outside streets.

We booked a 4star hotel to be sure of getting the best quality for our 3 night stay in Rome.We were not disappointed.
We had asked for interconnecting rooms which were provided.
The decor was splendid, timber panelling & high ceilings in the rooms was lovely.
The staff were friendly, spoke English & were inobtrusive.

We stayed at the Quirinale for three nights in Feb 07. Had read some mixed reviews but on arrival , found the hotel reception staff very welcoming and helpful. Our room was a standard room, but was beautiful, just what we wanted. Breakfast was very good. Although try to eat between 8 and 9 am, can get a bit crowded after this.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Rome. Very near to the train station. Just walk straight ont and head straight into the Republicca Piazza, the Via Nationale is on your right, with the Quirinale 10 metres down. Overall a beatufiul hotel.
