Once again on our visit to Rome we stayed at the Colonna Palace Hotel. This is the third time we had stayed there and will continue to do so each time we visit Rome. Although the hotel isn't the most modern up to date one you can find in Rome the location is perfect, staff are friendly and it suits all our needs.

We stayed at the Colonna Palace last year on our honeymoon, this year we returned for our 1st wedding anniversary and once again very much enjoyed our stay. We will be returning to Rome in 2012 and again intend to stay at the Colonna Palace.

This was our second stay at Colonna Palace. Located steps away from the Pantheon and Giolitti- best location. The rooms are adequate and comfortable although could use some new finishes, particularly the furniture. Fantastic roof terrace dining area where you will have your very nice breakfast each morning. Great views although constant drone of the hot tub pump is annoying. Staff very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your stay.

We had a great time in Rome! CP's location is perfect for walking around and visiting all the sites. The hotel staff was exceptional helping us with transportation, reservations, mapping out routes to places, and recommending restaurants. We also enjoyed having our ntight cap in the lobby each evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Colonna Palace Hotel, the staff were friendly, the location was perfect everything was in walking distance. Breakfast on the sun terrace was excellent, although we didn't spend much time in the Hotel as we were always out sightseeing any info we needed was freely given by the reception staff and we couldn't fault them. I know Colonna Palace hasn't always received good comments but my advise is to stay there and decide for yourself. We loved it.

This is the second time i have stayed at this hotel. I was disappointed this time, when i went to the reception area to book in, as details were under my name and to have the man talk over my shoulder to my partner!! Very rude! And was disappointed when i had booked two rooms and find they were not next to each other.
But the rest of the stay was lovely.

My partner & I stayed here two weeks ago. When we arrived we were given a very small, noisey, uncomfortable (linen itchy!) room. Maybe they thought we were backpackers with low standards, I've moved on since then!! After complaining we were then shown a far better room, definitely reflected what we were paying. Once we moved rooms we really liked it, breakfast nice on the terrace roof & very central for sightseeing. So my advice....don't settle for less there are nice rooms!!

We couldn't fault the Colonna Palace. It is located opposite the Parliament building which meant that it is very quiet as there is no passing traffic. It is centrally located for the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
