We stayed here overnight on the way to Puglia. Easy to find opposite the rail station with parking outside that cost just 1 euro for the night. Lovely clean room with air conditioning, bar, huge double bed and bath/ shower room with bidet and hairdrier. Very good welcome and buffet breakfast with cold meats, cheeses, cakes, bread, fruit, cereals etc - all for just £45!
Cafes, bars, pizzeria, Indian restaurant and an OK Italian restaurant in the same square - though there's not much else to see/ do within walking distance.

This hotel is great if you have just arrived by train in Ancona and just want to stay until catching a ferry the next morning.You see it from the train station and can get a bus from just outside the front door to the ferry.Very basic but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Although a bit far away from the old town centre (15-20 min walk), being in front of railway station was convenient as public transport in not the best in the area. Breakfast could have been better considering it is an Italian hotel (is was a bit tasteless). We do recommend visiting other towns such as Jesi and Cognoli for a real Italian experience. Overall the hotal was very good, comfortable and the staff very helpful.

Could not be more convenient to the "stazione" across the street or to the bus lines to "el centro." Breakfast was actually extremely well done with very large selection of items. I found it sort of a long walk from the harbor, but did not know the bus lines would have saved me a trek. Personnel spoke English and were very helpful in all regards. I do recommend the hotel for your stop overs in Ancona. Great little Italian restaurants right next door. Where the locals eat.....

For anyone on a shoestring budget this is a reasonable three star option which is right oposite the railway station. Very convenient if travelling by train or bus. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are generous in size if a little basic. Try to get a rear facing room for peace and quite otherwise you may have to put up with traffic noise.
The big minus is the breakfast which is very basic and unappatising. No proper coffee and not even boiling water to make a proper cup of tea unless asked for. There are several other nearby three and four star hotels you can transfer if this proves to be unsuitable.
