The new Dooleys bears little relation to the old. It is a very popular hotel which combines the warmth of a family run hotel with brand new rooms and facilities. It was voted the best run hotel in the country by Holiday Ireland for 1998.
This is a family run hotel ideally situated in the heart of Waterford on the bank of the River Suir.

The new hotel lobby is very modern and impressive. It is medium in size with an impressive high ceiling and balcony. There is a small seating area adjacent to the bar.

Exterior

The hotel has been completely renovated after fire and re-opened in early 1998. It faces the quayside on the main route through Waterford. It has a traditional facade and very modern interior.

Rooms

All the rooms have been completely refurbished for 1998.They are medium in size and airy. The new bathrooms are in excellent condition.

Restaurant

The hotel restaurant offers full a la carte and table d'hote menus. The room is quite big and well appointed. The hotel aso now has a traditional Irish bar facing the quayside.
