everthing about this hotel was excellent and we would stay there again.the room was clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed.only a 10 minute walk from the city centre and even the city bus tour leaves from outside the door.the only possible criticism would be a little traffic noise but just have another couple of pints of guinness and you'll sleep like a baby!!!

We were taking a spritely elderly relative with us and wanted a hotel close to O'Connell Street.
The airport bus stopped a couple of minutes walk away and the dublin city bus stopped right outside the hotel.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the food in the hotel was good. We especially liked breakfast being served buffet style.
Do not be put off by the views from the hotel rooms, you have to remember the hotel is in the middle of the city. You only use the rooms to sleep in.
One thing did happen; was that we put the make up the room sign on our elderly relative's door and unfortunately some children changed it over to do not disturb, which meant the room was not cleaned and tea cups replaced. We called reception who said they would deal with it. However three hours later it was still not done.
We called to reception again who despateched some one with a pot of fresh tea, fresh milk and buscuits and replaced the used tea making facilities. This was good.
The room was also cleaned very throughly the next day.
Apart from the one hiccup we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.
good stay
