i have stayed at the agon-opera,180 kurfurstendamm about 4 times, always great; but this time it was cold weather and the radiators needed bleed,it was easter so receptionist could only move me to another room ,the radiators in this room were better but still needed bleed.the staff were very helpful in supplying extra blankets and waived the late checkout fee of 30 euro.nevertheless i cannot speak too highly of this hotel and i am planning to book another stay in september,the breakfast is very good with a great view overlooking kurfurstendamm.

Our family of 7 met in Berlin to celebrate Christmas together as they could not all be back home at the same time over the holiday period. This was my present to them. The party was all adult and staying at the Agon Opera certainly added greatly to the trip. The location was ideal, the Christmas lights on the avenue were fantastic and the markets were within walking distance or accessible by bus from right outside the front door of the hotel or a nearby underground. The hotel itself was fairly basic but very clean and the breakfast was superb and available in a dining room which overlooked the entire avenue. The only thing I did miss was a kettle for tea or coffee in the room. Otherwise, this hotel had everything, including excellent value for money. Magnificent gourmet restaurants, designer shops and high street shops a few yards from the hotel. Also banks across the avenue. The tourist buses could be accessed a few hundred yards from the hotel. We would all stay there again and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who uses an hotel merely as a comfortable base for a holiday.

This hotel has a great location, even if you don't like to shop. The bus stop is across from the hotel from where you can take a bus to all the sites of interest, the u-ban is just down the street. There are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area which open 24hrs if, like us, you need to stay up all night to go straight to the airport for 4am. I would definately stay here again.

A well positioned hotel near transport. Clean and good view with a good breakfast selection.
We reserved a triple share room for 3 adults and the one bed was an army style fold out cot. We discarded the cot as it was not flat and the mattress was more comfortable on the floor.
The room was big enough to have added another bed.
Coffee making facilities and perhaps a fridge would have been nice.

A basic hotel, but everything worked. Room was warm, breakfast was substantial, location is good (taxi rank outside, bus stops near front door, U-bahn 4 mins walk) The K'damm is the city centre.
Very pleased with the value for money.
