The reception area is small and bright and has a small seating area. The beautiful wrought iron old fashion lift is very small.

All the rooms are fully equipped. Very convenient for long stays as all the rooms are studios so all of them are larger than the standard.

The Alba Opera has its own style: theatrical touches in the decor and displayed photos. A little frayed around the edges like an old theatre.
Good standard of service, pleasant and helpful welcome and assistance when needed. Good, well served continental breakfast.
Only grumble: no English TV channel - French, (of course), German and Italian, but no English. Would have been nice to have at least a news channel on the excellent flat screen TV.
