When going on holiday abroad we try to fly out of Cork Airport which is much more customer friendly than Dublin. We live in Co. Wexford which is a 2 and a half hour drive to Cork and, if we are going on an early flight, we stay at the Vienna Woods Hotel because the hotel is quiet, friendly, has good food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also good value.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. I was in the older part of the hotel which needs a bit of attention, and the outside needs some paintwork, but the modern wing of the hotel was beautiful and the public rooms in the older part were beautiful and full of character. A very enjoyable stay minutes from Cork City Centre but in the countryside. The food is delicious.
