booked this hotel for a three night stay in mid September and was not disappointed. Location was excellent with access to both tube and bus within 2 minutes walk and across the road from Hyde Park.
Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bar were of a high standard.
Rooms were well appointed with a proper powerful hairdryer, loads of towels and a great shower.
We had a double and a twin room and for some reason the double was smaller than the twin but this in no way detracted from the enjoyment of the facilities.
It was also a real treat to get breakfast delivered to my room at no extra charge.
Top notch all round - thanks for a great stay.

A very short walk from the underground, this hotel is in a good central location in a fairly quiet ares (for London), opposite Hyde Park. Very useful for moving on to Heathrow Airport via the tube. Staff were friendly and helpful but only drawback was the room was not ready even by 4pm! The room was a good size, clean and with good decor. Continental breakfast was adequate so you might want to splash out on a full English breakfast.

Really nice area, a walk away from the centre, no need to use buses or tube. Had excellent stay, have been twice and will keep returning.

We stayed at the Corus for 3 nights at the end of January 2008. We booked 2 double rooms.They were basic but very clean and contained everything that we needed. They were cleaned daily. The hotel staff were helpful and courteous. The continental breakfast was good and we really enjoyed our stay. The tube station at Lancaster Gate was only 2 minutes away. We will recommend the 'Corus' to friends and stay there again when next in London.

Ho soggiornato presso il corus hyde park dal 09 al 13 gennaio e devo dire che ne sono rimasto molto soddisfatto.
Come acccennato sopra nel rapporto qualità/prezzo l'hotel è imbattibile(personalmente sono riuscito ad avere un prezzo inferiore agli 80euro a notte compreso di colazione continentale). Considerando che questa era la 5a volta che andavo a Londra posso dire di aver trovato finalmente un hotel soddisfacente. Unica pecca(se di pecca possiamo parlare) la camera un pò piccolina ma molto pulita e con tutto il necessario, addirittura ferro e tavola da stiro oltre alle tea facilities, doppio telefono tv flat a parete.. una vera bomboniera..sicuramente ci tornerò

Hotel had been re-furbished since our last stay there three years ago, so there were positive improvements to the rooms and reception area.

Nice residential area, good location especially since close to Paddington Station/Heathrow Express and just 20 minutes walk from Marble Arch. Tube Station (Lancaster Gate) just two minutes away from hotel.

Ambience, free newspapers, very adequate central heating.

Confusion and very limited selection at the (Continental) breakfast section

I have been coming to London on business and for lesiure for many years and at last have found an excellent hotel, superbly located, and offers all services I require. If I had any criticism it would be that some of the bedrooms can be rather small for 2 peaople.

I stayed in the Corus for 1 night for an event on the Edgeware Road. Transport links were good with Lancaster Gate underground only 30 metres away. I was able to walk to & from Edgeware Road without any problems. The Staff were helpful & efficient, speaking good English.
In a single room which was immaculate with good facilities. Would stay again, was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

We stayed at the Corus Hyde Park for 3 nights and 4 days and really enjoyed our stay. I was a bit hesitant in booking with the hotel because of the reviews I had read in the past but this was a great hotel. The rooms were a bit small but really clean and the staff were really nice, well except the reception guy checking us in, he wouldn't even look at me or crack a smile. All in all I would go back, its in a great location right across from Hyde Park and if you get your directions straight it'll lead you right to Harrod's and all the shopping!

Fra Stansted flyplass brukte vi minbuss Easy Jet, som kostet 7 GBP og brukte ca to timer. Corus hyde park ligger i gangavstand til Oxfordstreet.(her alle butikkene er) Hotellet ligger fredfullt til ved Hydepark. Hyggelig betjening. Pene rom. God mat. Hotellet er smakfullt innredet og har meget hyggelig betjening. Vi reiser gjerne til dette hotellet igjen.

This is the second time we have stayed. The location is excellent and the hotel has all the necessary facilities and is very clean.

Bed rooms too hot

An ideally located hotel right next to Hyde park and close to the Tube and Oxford Street.
The hotel was well furnished and modern. The bedroom, for my wife and I, was however compact - well to be true it was small. The room must have been built around the bed (which for a double was also small).I don't know what the twin beddded rooms were like but they must have been bigger. Would I stay again? Unlikely.

Clean, modern

Room far too small for two (and very hot despite fan). I wonder why the fan was standard? Had they had complaints previously?
