The banqueting rooms have the same form and outfit as at the turn of the century, but are equipped according to the latest technology, which remains in the background. We organize seminars, celebrations and conferences for up to 200 persons.
Exterior
It was built as a City Palais of the Viennese Historism in 1877 and has been operated by the Kremslehner Family for 110 years, meanwhile in the 4th generation.
Rooms
Our 165 rooms are tastefully furnished, including WC, bath or shower, direct dial telephone, minibar, free cable TV, radio, hairdryer, safe and high speed Internet access. All guest-rooms are individually sized due to the building history. We offer 4 non smoking floors. 96 Standard and 57 Superior rooms are equipped in Italian period style furniture and propose an elegant atmosphere paired with the comfort of our time. 12 Deluxe Rooms are arranged with original Art Nouveau furniture and reflect the traditional character of the Hotel.
Restaurant
The Restaurant Roth proposes Austrian and international specialties in a cosy atmosphere as well as selected Austrian wines and international cocktails. The Restaurant Roth combines modern flair and the traditional atmosphere of the Ringstraße. The cuisine offers Viennese and Austrian specialities with seasonal dishes. The comfortable Restaurant-Bar invites to enjoy a drink or cocktail, to taste one of our Austrian wines or one of our draft beers. During summer time you can relax in our shady garden under the arcades.

I was very happy with my stay here. I chose this hotel because of its location near the Freud Museum but it is ideally situated just off the Ringstrasse. I was really worried to see the amount of building work going on at the hotel and the adjacent Votive Church, but I must say that I was not disturbed by this at any point - a remarkable achievement. I was glad I had chosen a 'superior' room - I cannot comment on the standard rooms. Breakfast was excellent.

Room was good and beds comfortable but the duvet was too small. Heating was difficult to control. Cleaning of room was good and breakfast was excellent. The cost of the internet connection was too much and should have been free, expecially for a superior room. Noises from other rooms were too easily heard.
