We were in Vienna for one night, as a stopover between the US and Slovenia. The Graben suited us very well. The location is perfect--a 2 minute walk from Stefansplatz, and easily accessible by subway from the train station and the city air terminal. The staff was efficient and helpful, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast more than adequate. Two possible areas of concern: the room was very small (didn't bother us, since we used it only to sleep), and because of its central location, it was quite noisy until late at night. There is no air conditioning, so we had to leave the window open.
Girls Culture Weekend

Brenda - Feltham, UNITED KINGDOM - 06/03/2007
Hotel was very central with lots of restaurants nearby, essential as six women did not want to be walking down dark streets late in the evening.
Staff very friendly and helpful with directions.
Rooms adequate and clean. One small pillow was not enough and we had to ask for more which were provided immediately.
Breakfast table small for 6 to eat and dissappointed there was no hot chocolate and cake as expected of the Austrians.
(we would not have had it however with our waist lines !!!).

Great hotel located centrally for everything in Vienna. 1 minute from the central St Stephens Cathederal with good underground connections to further afield. Airport to hotel 45mins via City train/underground. Difficult to fault as well priced for location/standard of rooms etc... Surprisingly quiet location at night, with plenty of places to eat. At breakfast there was a wide range of guest from young families to elders.
Excellent all round

An all round excellent hotel. The location, rooms and breakfast were fantastic for the price.
The airline had misled our 2 buggies. The reception staff were so helpful by finding a local shop that hired buggies for us.
