Apart from a window not shutting properly the room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor is a little dated but if you don't mind then this is an ideal hotel for a trip to Birmingham, plus the breakfast was yummy.

The door to our block was broken so we had to walk further to get to our room.

My initial impression on arrival was of disappointment. The room was dated, dark and shabby. Curtains not hung properly, all bedding old and faided. However towels and bed linen where fresh and clean laundered. The staff were courtious as would be expected. I had several telephone conversations with Ben, discussing the posibility of a functure, he was most warm and helpful. We did not continue with the function as we were looking for something extra special in the way of menu.
The hotel was full all weekend and the parties appeared to be having a fun time.
The breakfast was basic with a selection of fried foods, not particularly fresh and some cereal and fruits. Service was busy. Tables untidy and service slow, not organised.
Staff were pleasant and chatty.

A dodgy hotel. The rooms are clean and not too bad inside but you never loose the feeling you are staying in a halls of residence. If you just need somewhere to crash then fine else find somewhere else!

the hotel was very clean and the rooms of a good standard hotel staff were friendly and very efficent the reception was extremly helpfull organising taxis etc the resturant was well equipt and again the staff were attentive the buffet food was extemly appetising

this hotel was brilliant! although we had a problem with a smelly leaky loo in one of the rooms, we were quickly moved to another room.
this is an ideal place to stay if your on a girls/lads night out!
breakfast is served till ten which is great! u can eat all you like from the scrummy breakfast carvery!!!
rooms are clean and have decent beds, toilets and bath/shower facilities.
staff on reception are polite and happy to help!

Enjoyed a one-night stay at this hotel - looked rather like a holiday camp with every room having its own front door, at least in the part where I stayed.

Generally fine, although hairdryer didn't work.
