Overall very very impressed with nearly every aspect of the hotel. Service was fantastic with receptionists, bar staff and restaurant staff speaking perfect english. The entire hotel was kept clean and tidy. I booked in for a triple room so space was a little limited but that's mostly accounted for by the extra bed. The rooftop pool and hot tub were fantastic additions, not only being enjoyable to use but also providing fantastic views over barcelona. open from 8 am to 8 pm for swimming and open till 12 for other use. there were chairs/tables up there to relax in and a phone to call for food from the restaurant. The included breakfast was fantastic, mostly continental but cooked elements such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Tea/Coffee was brought to you, and it was open from 7:00 till 10:30 mon-sat and 7:30 till 11:00 on sundays. The location was brilliant for access to Diagnal (not sure on the spelling there) and other major shopping areas, was about a 2/3 minute walk. Good metro access. The surrounding nightlife left a bit to be desired but i'm sure with the proper research a good night could be had by all. The price of roughly £33 a night was very competitive, i only gave it four stars as you could get cheaper hotels- however you'd probably lose some of the service. In summary a fantastic hotel, you could do much much worse. there was also free internet, and a number of business people were staying at the hotel as well which suggests it can cater for that kind of customer as well.good location, great services, fantastic food, it had everything i wanted.
