I and my family of 4 had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff were quite helpful in assisting in site reservations and accomodating our needs. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Rome.

Location was very good for our visit as we wanted to be near the Villa Bourgoise ,room was very clean and bright,the area was quite, no traffic at night ,the breakfast was disappointing.. no fresh fruit or yoghurts in the restaurant.

All in all the stay at Albani Hotels was OK.
The room however did not look in any way like on the promotion pictures of the same room category as published on the net. It was simply functional, not pretty or cosy but al least big enough for two people. The service was alright, not outstanding, not bad. Though I had wished -especially the people from the reception- would smile from time to time, look friendly or say 'Hello'. I guess that is too much for Hotel Albany services!
So, if you plan to visit the Hotel be prepared to meet some 'roughness' and average 'comfort'.

The Location: just one street away from Villa Borgehse, which is beautiful for (Sunday Morning) walks.

I had wished more friendliness and nicer rooms.

WE CHECKED IN EARLY IN THE MORNING, AND GLADLY, WERE ABLE TO RECEIVE OUR ROOM,
WHICH WE FOUND NICE, CLEAN, UPDATED AND QUIET, NEAR A PARK.
SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, SO WAS BREAKFAST.
IN OTHER WORDS, DEFFINATELY RECOMMENDED.

The hotel is a modern and very clean and suits the young, independent traveller. The centre of Rome was too far away to walk to,particularly with an elderly parent but taxis are reasonable costing 8 euros from the hotel to the Spanish steps.
Staff were friendly and helpful the only downside is that the hotel does not have a restaurant open for evening meals.
