Overall we enjoyed a pleasant stay, the Colombina enjoys an excellent location just to the right of St Mark`s Basilica. However light building works and a lack of hospitality marred my experience somewhat. Rooms are tastefully decorated and there is a turndown service which is a nice touch. Breakfast was good, there is no restaurant for evening meals therefore would recommend La Zucca and La Madonna in Santa Croce and Rialto please reconfirm address details with the tourist board.

light but noticeable building works - not advised, no dressing gowns, poor toiletries and did not honour request for extra to acknowledge anniversary - rude and dismissive at reception

the roof of the room was very low and the total size also.It seems that they use this room for personal.I have stayed in that hotel several times but never slept in this kind of rooms.I hope never stay again in that room.I must say that the second day the reception told me to change the room but i stayed for two nights and i have already opened my luggages.
