Service in bar a little slow and our room was in the basement so a little noisy because of the restaurant above.

However it's well positioned and good value so we'll use it again.

Decor in room a bit tired

L'albergo è vecchiotto, arredo semplice, camere un po' piccole, pavimenti che scricchiolano, moquette che ne ha viste tante, però il risultato è positivo.
Le stanze sono calde, a volte troppo, ma basta aprire un po' la finestra.
Il bagno è molto semplice, ma è anche pulito, come gli asciugamani e le lenzuola.
La colazione abbondante e variata.
La posizione è perfetta, tranquilla in una via laterale, ma a neanche 100 m dalla fermata di Earl's Court.
Insomma non è un grande albergo, ma per quello che si paga, tenuto conto di quanto costa Londra è una scelta ottima.

avons été surpris en bien par le Barkston Gardens, en particulier par le confort des chambres triples : vastes et équipées de trois grands lits confortables.

Don't come here if you want a posh, modern hotel. If you want a decent, convenient hotel, which is outstanding value for money for London(£59 B & B for a single, through Hotelsclick.com) this is perfect. 100 yards from Earls Court Tube, so 10 minutes from the heart of London, theatre-land etc. A little old-fashioned with smallish rooms,small lifts, but clean and breakfasts were excellent for the price.

Practical and low price, in a nice neighbourhood, but the room looked quite tired and drab. At breakfast I missed some tomatoes and other vegetables. The staff was very pleasant and service minded.

A good reasonably-priced hotel in a very central location. Steps leading to hotel are in need of repair-gives a poor impression of hotel. Hotel lobby is good as are the public areas. Bar could do with some atmosphere. Our room was comfortable-carpet needs replacing and the ceiling would benefit from redecorating. But the room was well cleaned and bed very comfortable.
