General information: Henry Hobauser built the South beach Hotel in 1939, and we carefully restored it to preserve and recreate its original features to such extend that the City of Miami Beach honored us with a Beautification Award. Location: The hotel is located twenty minutes East of International Miami Airport. The hotel is conveniently located in the Heart of the Art Deco Historic District off of Collins Avenue across the street from Collins Park Cultural Campus. Area details: The guest to walk to the Bass Museum (across the street). And the Miami Beach Convention Center. The sandy beaches of the American Riviera, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, The Jackie Gleason Theater, all of the area’s major attraction, as well as the fabulous nightlife are easily accessible. Recreation: Café Azuka, located in the lobby, offers a variety of soft drinks and bottled water, as well as daily coffee and cookies, Enjoy these item inside, or sit by the fountain in the courtyard and take advantage of the tranquil and relaxing ambiance created just for so you can read a copy of the local newspaper that we provide, or your favorite book. Soon to come at Café Azuka, European pastries, cold salad, fruit platters, and other delightful treats that will make a wonderful addition to the elements that makes fro a great morning or afternoon of people watching. Rooms: Our 51 rooms and suites have been created with you in mind. Executive workspace with electrical outlet and computer connection, two line phones with data port, and voice mail massaging are just some of the amenities that await you along with central AC, and cable TV. Add an oversized closet, luggage rack, and a large bathroom with jetted bathtub for a relaxing bath at the end of the busy day of work or play, to create the feeling of a home away from home.
