This is a great location for people who want to be in the heart of the red light district where there are numerous restaurants and bars as well as the obvious. It is within walking distance of almost all the tourist attractions that this famous city has to offer.

As the name suggests, this hotel is located in the very heart of Amsterdam, in the red light district overlooking the canal that runs through it. It is within walking distance of Central Station, Dam Square, the main shopping area of Amsterdam, China Town and the Nieuwe Market and is approximately 20 minutes walk to the Leidseplein where the Holland Casino is located and also Amsterdam's famous Vondel Park and exclusive PC Hoofsstraat shopping street. For those who choose not to walk so far, numerous trams stop near the hotel.

The immediate entrance brings you to the reception which is very small and this leads to the lobby which serves as the breakfast room and overlooks the canal and red light district.

The bedrooms are basic but comfortable and are decorated in pale wood. The bathrooms are also basic and in fair condition.
