A true complex set in the heart of Tuscany, Calamidoro Hotel consists of a main building featuring standard rooms carefully furnished in traditional style, and the old Borgo, a small Tuscan village of separate buildings housing luxurious superior rooms. Right at the hotel guests will find diversions such as fine restaurants, a shop, a relaxing ambiance that includes a small lake, and even a nightclub, open on weekends in the main building. Calamidoro Hotel’s comprehensive host of sports facilities proudly offers a 10-metre deep diving pool and a 25-metre long semi Olympic swimming pool, as well as a swimming pool for children, a practice golf court with 2 holes and 3 illuminated mini soccer fields.

Location

The Calamidoro Hotel is situated in the heart of Tuscany, not far from the most attractive destinations: Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Florence and the seaside. It is possible to book a transfer to/from the airport. Calamidoro Hotel is located in Calcinaia and includes an old Villa and dependences surrounding it. To complete this picture, the lake, the practice golf course, archery, the private swimming pool, the Olympic swimming pool and the Shop Ville.

Lobby

In the central establishment of the hotel, the first one in front of you at the arrival, there are: Reception, Calandrino Restaurant, Pizzeria, Nausicaa Wellness Center (closed in the August 15), Olympic Swimming Pool, Swimming Pool with trampoline and Swimming Pool for children, disco (open only in weekend, closed at August). 200 mt. further the Reception, into the Centro Torretta White, go beyond a cross out and pass through a little alley sourrended by a small lake, a practice golf course, archery and a private swimming pool you will reach other structures of Calamidoro Hotel: the Villa and the other four Depandances.

Exterior

The enchanting Borg seems an old medieval italian village: the main house in the center surrounded by others little houses: the old hayloft and the old stable. There are the most part of our rooms. Behind the Villa, the relaxing private swimming pool is open from May until the end of September. Here guests will find welcome drinks.

Rooms

The hotel offers 70 rooms: Superior and De Luxe rooms and suites. In the furnishings of the rooms guests will admire the warm colours, the wrought iron, the ancient beams, and the ancient Tuscan tradition. Rooms are equipped by: tv, air conditioned, telephone, modem, hairdryer, courtesy set. STANDARD ROOM: all the standard rooms are equipped by fitted carpeting. SUPERIOR ROOM: located in Borgo, someone in Ville, other in Depandances, the superior rooms have the stewed floor and, someone, a little portico; DELUXE JUNIOR SUITE and SUITE ROOM: characterized by two levels, with living room, tv, double room.

Restaurant

The Calandrino Restaurant expresses with its dishes the ancient tuscan flavours. Calamidoro Hotel offers its guests a variety of gastronomic options, catering to the most demanding palates with creativity and dedication. Il Calamidoro Restaurant, Pane & Rose Restaurant and the rich Brazilian steakhouse La Vipera are all set in the complex, as well as a sandwich corner for snacks and an American bar. In our Traditional Tuscan Calandrino Restaurant can organize welcome Dinners or Galà Dinners for your special events.
