The hotel is member of Hotels chain "Leading Hotels of the World". This building has a modern outside heated swimming pool.For wellness lovers,the typical new Givenchy Spa (9000 sqft) unique in France located on the 7th floor and entirely dedicated to beauty and well-being, with also a fitness center & a hairdresser. The hotel agrees the free access to the fitness center situated on 7th floor, to the sauna and the heated outdoor swimming pool(the last one during the periods from 1/1/09 to 31/05/09 and from 1/10/09 to 31/12/09).During summer season the heated outdoor swimming pool will be subject to payment to agree the access. Also for the access to the private beach ZPlage, the customers should pay on the place. The hotel admits pets access only by payment. The building arranges of a parking area subjected to payment to agree the access.

Lobby

The hotel has a beautiful, very large lobby area, with the concierge desk to the left of the entrance. The reception desk is at the far end of the lobby. It is a low dark wooden desk and for check in, out clients sit down in comfortable leather armchairs. To the right of the entrance is a large comfortable lounge followed by the bar area.For business guests, the hotel will wellcome them in classic style and air conditioned business areas with all of modern equipments.

Exterior

The Art Deco king of the Croisette has seen some ups and downs throughout the decades since its 1929 opening; but today, after a thorough renovation, the Hotel Martinez, with its elegant ivory-colored facade, is poised to recapture its place of honor along Cannes’s famed oceanfront promenade.

Rooms

The hotel offers 385 air-conditioned rooms and 27 suites including two 500 sq.m. terrace-apartments, 11 junior penthouse suites and the renovated "Suite des Oliviers" with a private jacuzzi in Art Deco style. All have desks, minibars, safes, multi-line phones, and internet access. Fax machines and hypoallergenic pillows are available on request. The ensuite marble bathrooms offer hairdryers, bathrobes, telephones, makeup mirrors, and Annick Goutal toiletries. Look for flat-screen televisions and tasteful Thirties-inspired furnishings in the low-key monochrome bedrooms, and Annick Goutal products in the spacious marble bathrooms. Suites are decidedly more modernist in décor, with hardwood floors and ochre or ivory color schemes, in contrast with the sunny colors of the traditional rooms.

Restaurant

The Martinez has three restaurants, 'La Palme d'Or', a 2 stars Michelin gastronomic restaurant, 'Le Relais Martinez' and the 'Zplage Beach Restaurant',but also an exclusive piano bar. The Palme d'Or Restaurant serves a modern French Mediterranean cuisine.This restaurant is renowed in 2003 with brown,orange and beige tones,including a cinematographic theme like a palm of the carpet and of the photographes in white and black of the previous festivals.With lift included and pillow in chocolate colour dedicated to all ladies to put own bag.This is an ideal place to taste superb gourmets. The restaurant has also a small cigar smoking area and a typical room to drink wine. Restaurant Le Relais serves mediterranean meals, such as fish and local specialities.The restaurant,with panels in clear wood and neutral furnitures, has a terrace with pool view. Open all of the days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amiral Bar,located in proximity of the Restaurant Le Relais with pool view, serves a wide range of drinks for all day with a club atmosphere in red and dark wood furnished. ZPlage Space Restaurant,a spacious private beach of the hotel that arranges of restaurant, open at lunch time. In a relaxing environment with its chairs in tek, the Restaurant De la Plage offers salads, roast beaf, grilled meats and jumped speciality. The restaurant also arranges of a bar, La Rotonde, open from morning to night, that serves cocktails, snacks and breakfast. In particolar summer nights there are organized pirothecnic shows.
