Location
Built in 1930, this stylish 4 star superior hotel is located in the heart of Cannes - facing the old harbour and the fine sandy beaches. Close to the shops and the Palace of Festivals, the hotel has great views of the Croisette and the Esterel mountains.
Lobby
The open plan lobby is of medium size. The large rounded wood clad reception desk is to the left of the entrance. To the right of the entrance is a sitting area with comfortable armchairs, leading on to the bar.
Exterior
The building dates from 1930 and it is painted in typical Provence ocre and yellow colours.
Rooms
The rooms are medium to large. They are tastefully decorated in different Provencal styles or in a style reflecting the interior of a boat by using a lot of wood and sliding sanded glass bathroom doors. Rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
Restaurant
The hotel has 2 two restaurants, Chez Panisse on the ground floor, which is a Provencal style brasserie, and Le Mediterranee on the 7th floor which offers a fantastic view of all parts of Cannes, the sea and the Esterel mountains.
